Controls Designer/Technician - Huntsville, AL

Will assume responsibility of the electrical/pneumatic design for the control of automated equipment. Will create controls design from concept to completion, including documentation. Must work closely with the mechanical engineering staff, and the mechanical and electrical assembly personnel. Basic Qualifications: Four years work experience in the electrical field that includes industrial controls engineering. Minimum Requirements include: Four years experience in the electrical field with at least one year concentrated in industrial controls engineering. This experience may include educational training. Must possess excellent analytical skills to be applied in design, programming, and troubleshooting of production machinery, process systems, and assembly line control systems as well as specific experience with Allen-Bradley PLC's, HMI's and control panel design. Excellent verbal, written and communication skills are a necessity. Work experience must also include: Allen-Bradley PLC programming as well as experience with RSView32 and control panel design. Experience designing and implementing pneumatic and hydraulic controls systems required. Experience with MS Windows and AutoCAD also required. Training and working experience with Motoman or Fanuc Robots will be a plus. This position will require travel to customer sites to perform field service and/or system installations. Draftsman - Huntsville, AL

Will provide computer aided drafting support to Mechanical Designers and assist in the completion of design projects. This position will consist of, but will not be limited to: Generating accurate detail drawings from a working mechanical assembly drawing; Making drawing revisions from red-lined drawings; Provide concept drawing from limited information; Provide support and “hands on” assistance to assemble, install or troubleshoot any type of automatic, semi-automatic or material handling equipment. Mechanical Designer/Solid Works Designer - Huntsville, AL

Will provide mechanical design support to Project Engineers during the design of automatic and semi-automatic manufacturing equipment along with special Material Handling applications. The candidate must possess experience working with various customer supplied part print drawings. The applicant will be responsible for generating assembly drawings and detail drawings using Solidworks 2004 3-D and AutoCAD software. Must provide support and "hands-on" assistance to assemble, install or troubleshoot any type of automatic, semi-automatic or material handling equipment. Viable candidate must interact well with both the Project Engineer and the Detailer assigned to assist individual with projects.

Basic Qualifications: 8-10 years experience in the field of Mechanical Design and Detailing.

Minimum Requirements: 8-10 years experience in the field of Mechanical Design and Detailing as well as experience with gathering information in the field with limited resources. Must possess an excellent working knowledge of Solidworks 2004 and AutoCAD 2000 or later. Training/experience in other 3-D software packages is a plus. Test Engineer - Huntsville, AL

Will provide support for the development of military systems, sub-systems and components. Will perform a variety of test coordination and test documentation assignments in support of test programs assigned to RTTC by the Development Test Command and qualified commercial customers. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepares and reviews test plans, test procedures, standard operating procedures, checklists, and other associated test documentation in support of environmental, functional, and qualification testing. Requires collecting or gathering data and information from multiple sources needed to prepare a test plan or other type of test documentation. Test document generation requires interface between testing entities (subject matter experts), test management division, and test customers. Prepares complete test reports following test completion. Requires collecting and gathering all needed data products and information from customer and test entities. Requires writing reports and working closely with customer and test entities for review and finalizing of report. Other responsibilities may include: Provide support for test coordination between various test branches and customer organizations. Support includes: attending project meetings, test incident reporting, project scheduling and tracking, test observation and witness, and general test coordination and communication required to make test occur on schedule and within requirements. Weekly and monthly status reports will be required.

Basic Qualifications: BS in Engineering or Technical Discipline plus a minimum of 2 or more years experience in related field. BS may be substituted for 8 years of experience in a technical field involving military hardware/systems development and testing.

Minimum Requirements include: Must be proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be able to communicate well and work well with other engineers, scientists, and technicians. Must be well organized, thorough, and detail oriented. Must be able to travel as required. The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required. Must be self-motivated, a self starter, and a "Team Player". Must have good interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Desired Qualifications: Direct knowledge of DoD/Army test and evaluation documentation and processes is desired. Ability to use own judgment and decisions to allow continuity of work flow. Knowledge of MS Project is desirable.

Will provide administrative support for the Test Management Division, Test Management Branch Chiefs, and test managers. Administrative support may include poster development, scheduling, expediting duties. Will also provide support for data entry and maintenance of records to include: schedule information, test documentation, and test status data and information. Maintains, tracks, reports, monitors, and expedites documents, information retrieval, administration editing and other test reporting documentation. Coordinates with test managers, contractors, and other test entities to ensure documentation deliverables are completed on schedule. Provides general clerical, secretarial support, and administrative support for the test management division as required. Generates boiler plate test documents for test management. Must have ability to expedite, track, monitor, and get results from other parties. Must be able to become familiar with Army test documentation requirements as defined in the DTC and RTTC PAM 73-1 test document guidelines.

Basic Qualifications: HS Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2-8 years related experience.

Minimum Requirements: Must be physically able to write, operate office equipment including computers, typewriters, calculators, etc. and effectively communicate with client, co-workers, and supervision. Work requires movement between buildings and various work sites within buildings. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written required. Good typing skills required. General knowledge of computers and how they function and specific knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office software package required. The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.

Desired or Preferred Qualifications: Must be able to work with multiple parties to complete tasks. Must be capable of multi-tasking. Must be diligent and tenacious when coordinating with people to ensure deadlines are met and required data and information is obtained. Direct knowledge of routine office work, computer skills, typing, filing note taking, organization, MS Office Software, and MS Project is preferred. Must be well organized, motivated, and a self-starter. Knowledge of Army acquisition process is preferred.

Basic Qualifications: Requires a Bachelors or Associates Degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 2-8 year’s experience. Eight years related experience may be substituted for a Bachelors Degree.
