Amtec's Information Technology services span the entire application lifecycle (from requirements generation to maintenance) and ranges from desktop to large integration projects. Amtec is able to leverage a wide range of experience, talent, and the latest technologies to solve our customer's problems and provide our clients with the tools they need to maintain a competitive advantage.
Software solutions can be broken into four primary phases: requirements definition, design, implementation and administration/maintenance. Amtec has proven skills in each of these phases.
Requirements Definition
Typically the most difficult phase of the software process, Amtec's experience in asking the correct questions, observing business practices, and understanding the process requirements aid in defining the problem and narrowing the requirements to a manageable level. Our experienced systems engineers have the tools and the hard-won knowledge to aid our customers in defining their requirements.
Design
Amtec's experience in data architecture design enables us to work with simple database design or distributed frameworks. Amtec has and is currently designing systems for single computers and large worldwide distributed systems. Amtec uses a spiral approach in system design to be able to develop a complete solution in stages to better meet our customer's needs.
Implementation
Amtec implements the design using a phased approach that allows measurable milestones. Each milestone allows a portion of the solution available to the customer, easing training and building the complete solution on success.
Administration/Maintenance
Amtec's design philosophy is to implement systems that require the minimum use of resources to administer and maintain. Robust, modular design coupled with automated data collection and sorting help in giving the customer the highest return on investment and lowest total cost of ownership.
